Irish Cheddar, Apple & Balsamic Bites
These festive crostini combine creamy Irish cheddar, crisp apples, and a sweet balsamic drizzle. Finished with a splash of citrus olive oil, they’re bright, savory, and perfect for celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.
Ingredients
- 1 baguette, sliced into thin rounds
- 2 tbsp Madagascar Black Pepper Infused Olive Oil
- 1 cup sharp Irish cheddar cheese, shredded or sliced
- 1 crisp green apple, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP – Three Leaf Dark Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 tsp honey
- Small drizzle Sweet Valencia Orange Infused Olive Oil
- Fresh chives or parsley for garnish
Instructions
1️⃣ Toast the Crostini
Brush baguette slices lightly with Madagascar Black Pepper Infused Olive Oil and toast in the oven at 375°F for 6–8 minutes until golden.
2️⃣ Make the Balsamic Drizzle
In a small bowl, whisk together the Three Leaf Dark Balsamic Vinegar and honey until slightly thickened.
3️⃣ Assemble the Bites
Top each toasted crostini with a slice of Irish cheddar and a thin slice of apple.
4️⃣ Add the Magic
Drizzle the balsamic mixture lightly over each crostini.
5️⃣ Finish with Flavor
Add a tiny drizzle of Sweet Valencia Orange Infused Olive Oil and sprinkle with chopped chives.
