Delicious Fried Zucchini Discs with Olive Oil

Fried Zucchini is a summer squash that belongs to the vining herbaceous plant. It is a baby morrow harvested when it is immature, soft, and edible. Recipe for Fried Zucchini Discs with Olive oil

Here are a few simple steps to prepare Fried Zucchini Discs in olive oil.

Ingredients

  1. 3 to 4 Zucchini 
  2. 1 cup of flour of your choice
  3. 1 tablespoon of ginger paste
  4. 2 eggs
  5. Salt according to taste
  6. 3 tablespoons of extra virgin high-quality olive oil

Directions

Step 1.

Cut zucchini and make round slices.

Step 2.

Beat two eggs and give them a flavor with some salt and mix one tablespoon of garlic in the eggs.

Step 3.

Take a cup of flour of your choice in a bowl and set it next to the eggs.

Step 4.

Heat a pan on low-medium flame and add one tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.

Step 5.

Take a slice of zucchini, roll it in flour, and then give it an egg wash.

Step 6.

Put egg-washed zucchini into the pan heated on medium flame and fry for one minute. Flip the slice when browned and again cook for one minute. 

You can add more olive oil between the slices and repeat the procedure until all the slices are done.

Sauce for Fried Zucchini Discs

The sauce is necessary whenever it comes to the fries. So, you can also prepare a tasteful sauce with this recipe:

  1. Take a sauce ladle and add a Spoonful of soy sauce
  2. Two tablespoons of white vinegar
  3. 1 tablespoon of water 
  4. Chili pepper flakes
  5. Sliced Scallions

Try to use extra virgin oil for this recipe, but if you are not comfy with it, you can also try virgin or mild olive oil. 

Final Words

The 3 to 4 standard size zucchini equals 2.5 pounds of zucchini. So, you can make this recipe with 2.5 pounds of zucchini that you can serve to 4 to 5 people.
